**EXCUSE THE INTERRUPTION... Week 6 of Weightwatchers continues in the post below.... **

These were(This was???) my second pair of running shoes, I got them in October 2006:

I realised that the above shoes just weren't right for me so I went to Runners Need. After an analyis, I got these in March 2007:

After a slight hiccup(I was given shoes half a size too small, changed them immediately), I loved running in them for close to a year...

So I'd like to introduce you to the new replacements, purchased on Monday, the 25th of February 2008 :-) Yay!!!!!!

They feel so good :-) They are a newer version of the previous ones. I'm not throwing the old ones out, I'll wash them and use them for my indoor workouts and take them with me when I travel or I'm away from home...

Okay, back to the WW post below:

Presenting....

Sunday, March 25, 2007

I'm about to Test Run these. I'm about to go for an hour long run.

I am so EXCITED!!! Hmmm.. I am worried about myself, a new pair of trainers and I am acting like I won loads of money!

I'll be back...

Just got back from a 35minute run and 3 sets of 20 squats and 20 pulses... The shoes felt weird - left foot felt really good, right felt weird. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with my run yesterday... I'll try them out again on Tuesday...

P.S. I upgraded from THESE.

Saturday's Run Round The Park

Saturday, October 28, 2006

I ran so well today! It's either cos I was flying in my new running shoes or cos I missed running so much... Whatever, the reason, it felt really good!

Each lap ~ 2.25km.

The times in orange, and in brackets, are my times for last week Saturday so you can see the difference...

1st lap: 15min 42sec (16min 10sec)
2nd lap:15min 05sec (15min 46sec)
3rd lap: 15min 38sec (16min 06sec)
4th lap: 15min 07sec (15min 55sec)

I am so happy :-) I am still fit, if not fitter!!!

Here's a picture of my new and improved running shoes, Nike Airs....

Maybe another day, when I have more time, I will take pics from different angles so you can see the 'air' (hence, Nike maxAIR) filled soles... very very comfortable, it is good to invest in good running shoes.

Enjoy your weekend!
