Race Week Begins...

I had Bread and Peanut Butter for Breakfast Today... BAD!!!

Anyway, my plan is to eat healthy this week leading to the Race.

Oh yeah, and ofcourse AFTER the race, I'll still be eating healthy cos I went to Zara to buy a pair of trousers and the size 10s that used to be my size 2 years ago were tight at the waist!!! I don't know if I am happy at this size or not... Do I want to lose about 6lbs so that I'll be able to fit into those trousers? Or am I fine with the way I am? I eat, I jog... my friend told me I looked happier... LOL!!! (With a couple of extra pounds on me!)

I'll make up my mind soon... when I see a picture of myself... probably on the race day.

Have a nice week!!!

Where do you go running? I really want to get fit again but I can't really afford the gym at the moment so I'm trying to figure out my options. There aren't any parks near me and I heard running on the pavement is bad for you knees ...lol excuses excuses!

Your site is really motivational ... I can only hope that one day I'll be as disciplined as you!

I can't afford the gym and if I could, I probably won't go to the gym... I jog in the Park - Finsbury Park and Regent's Park are good. Running on the pavement is even worse if you are wearing crap trainers so if you decide you wanna start jogging, invest in a good pair of running shoes with cushioning to lessen the impact.

Thank you, I guess I am disciplined with exercise but not too disciplined with food... I am working on that though.

Good Luck and if you want help with starting out with running, check out my April and May posts, that really helped me.

So I printed your week 1 running schedule with all good intentions, set my alarm for 6:45 this morning and then promptly turned over and switched it off. So I guress my question is when do you go running ... I'm too tired after work but how the hell do I wake up early????

LOL!!! I don't blame you. I've been going running in the evenings during the week and in the morning on Saturdays.

You can either:
1. Try really hard to wake up early
OR
2. Jog after work, you might be lazy when you get home BUT once you start, you should be fine.

Please jog in a safe place cos it gets dark ealrier now. I have a jogging partner so it's semi-safe in the evenings...

I might even start jogging in the mornings during the week... I'll see.

Oh... I did not answer your question!

How do you wake up early? That's a difficult question... but it's something you slowly get used to.

Ur first week, you'll prob only succeed once and you'll see your body will get used to it eventually.

Good Luck!

Hmm, that's what I need ... a jogging partner, both for motivation and safety. I'll look into it and I'll let you know when I finally get started!
