5 days off

I took 5 days off running this week cos I had one migraine after the other... I was going to run last night but I got home too late! My head feels clearer today so I am planning on doing a very very long run at the park tomorrow - 5 or 6 times.

How're you all doing? ToyinE where are you???

Hey we all need days off running ... but I'm holding you to your 5 or 6 times round the park tomorrow.

I did a 40min V yesterday ....7 times up and down the hill, 120 step ups on each leg, 40 squats and 40 lunges on each leg. And I went for a 30 minute run today. Planning on going for two long runs too saturday and sunday ... I need to make up for only going once last week and twice the week before.

Oh and I registered for 2 regents park races, august and september. The others were full.

Two long runs this weekend? Hmmm.... should I try that too? Maybe I will... I'll keep you posted. Let me know how it goes...

I think I registered for July, Aug and September... So we have 4 races together now...? Good :-)

It's been an awful long time since I've commented here but I do read it every week.
nice one ladies. maybe one day I'll join you guys on a race. But for now I must go and read 'the V' and see if I can do it too.
I only run once a week, I do dance class on one other day but I can't seem to make time to go for at least one other run a week...

lol Soul ... nope you can't have my stamina! If you knew the amount of time and hard work it took me to acuire it ... no way!

Exercise twice a week is good, but three would definitely be better. Try going one morning before work, I know it seems daunting but it great because you don't have time to think of excuses not to go.I would love to do a dance class and you mentioned on my blog that you used to play basketball, maybe you could look into playing once a week. I'm looking into it to, I'm rubbish at basketball but I really like it!

I'm gonna either take an extra class or go running one more time during the week.
oh re: basketball. I don't play anymore, it's incredibly difficult finding boys who will just play with you instead of using the opportunity to either pretend they are jordan and start show boating, or to just start pushing you all over the place.

I used to play at work, it was fine until some idiot started being inappropriate. So I stopped.
I haven't played in awhile so I'm quite crap now, but if you like I can play with you

Soul, I would love to play basketball ... any ideas where we can play? You'd have to be very patient with me because it sounds like you'll be a million times better than me.
